Things I want artists to know about me

I'm almost 30. I don't know what younger people's expectations are around how quickly you reply to a message, but you don't need to tell me, "Sorry for the late reply". Especially when you say that after, what, an hour? It's okay. I'm sorry if the world makes you feel like that's a slow response.

Maybe you feel like I'm pushing you. That's because I'm excited about what you do and want to witness you do it to the fullest.

You don't have to do what I say. I try to only give you a perspective of what I'd do and then let you decide. You're in charge.

I always want to know the way it was done in the past, but rarely do I want to follow that way now and in the future.

I want your project to make you money, or at least earn back what you put into it. Maybe I want that more than you do; that's okay.

It's in my nature to try and put blame on myself whenever possible. Hopefully that doesn't cause trouble and we can discuss things when and if they get challenging.

I care a lot about everything. I don't believe that being indifferent is cool. Caring is cool.
